Patrick Terminals and Logistics Patrick Terminals and Logistics is Australia's largest national operator of shipping container terminals and the only Australian-owned stevedore. The business moves more than half of the nation's containerised freight across Australian wharves, connecting customers with their markets by facilitating the movement of containers between ships, rail and roads. When completed in 2014, the project will deliver a world-class and internationally competitive container terminal. The business operates from 33 sites, delivering stevedoring, transportation and cargo storage services for metal imports and exports, bulk ores and minerals, and agricultural and forestry products, along with the movement of project cargo for major energy and resources and construction projects, roll on/roll off vessel stevedoring, forestry marshalling and stevedoring, and the movement of other general cargo, such as containers and livestock. The business is well-positioned for a period of consolidation and growth, having recently acquired New Zealand ports and stevedoring operator C3 Limited, and having secured new major contracts in the Australian resources sector. Patrick Autocare Patrick Autocare operates a 'shore- to-door' service for the automotive industry, providing integrated motor vehicle transport, processing and storage services for manufacturers, dealers, companies, small businesses and private users across Australia. The business is a key part of the vehicle logistics supply chain, operating out of wharf facilities in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia, and linking shipping lines, port authorities and stevedores. In addition to motor vehicle processing, storage, transport and distribution, Patrick Autocare has recently moved into the post-wholesale market by offering 'dealer services'. www.asciano.com.au
