28X Company profile Constructed by the Port Hedland Port Authority, Utah Point is capable of processing 20 million tonnes of Iron Ore per year, and enables multiple ‘junior’ miners to access world class bulk facilities. As an independent operator and port infrastructure investor, POAGS worked closely with the Port Hedland Port Authority on all aspects of the project, including concept development, project management, procurement and installation of stockyard infrastructure, wet commissioning and the development of operating procedures and systems. POAGS’ investment in Utah Point includes 11 truck receival and 11 radial stacking systems capable of stacking up to 120,000T, 4 Komatsu WA900 Front End Loaders, plus an advanced automation and control system to manage truck movements. Overall, the Utah Point project demonstrates POAGS’ ability to design, invest in and manage multi- user infrastructure, and reinforces the company’s position as the leader in bulk logistics.
